How to play
If you know Queens or Star Battle puzzles, you'll feel at home. The difference is the rooms: an empty room is as much a clue as a full one.
The three rules
1. Every room says how many
Each room holds exactly the number of monsters in its corner. A zero means the room is empty.
2. One in every row and column
There is exactly one monster in every row and in every column.
3. Monsters never touch
No two monsters sit side by side, not even corner to corner.
Try one now
Tap a square once to cross it off, twice to place a monster, three times to clear it. Mistakes glow red.
You found them all. There are a thousand more in the tower.

- Start with the zeros: cross off every square of an empty room.
- A room squeezed into one row or column decides that line: nothing else in it can hold a monster.
- Each monster you place crosses off its row, its column and the eight squares around it.
- Stuck? There is always a next step by logic. In the game, the Clue shows it and explains why.
Help when you want it
In the game, the Lantern settles a patch of the board, Sight places a monster for you, and the Torch adds a minute to the clock. The lairs are where you will want them.
